FUND A NEED
Artistic Needs 
Behind every MainStage performance is a team of artists and hours of work that account for the professionalism and artistic successes of Bellevue Youth Choirs. A team of BYC directors and accompanists leads singers in rehearsal every week, teaching them not only how to sing, but how to read music, how to pronounce a variety of languages, how to express themselves musically, and how to conduct themselves as a member of a community. Artistic staff spend time choosing the theme and direction of each concert, picking pieces that match chorister abilities while still providing a learning experience and a musically fulfilling one. Instrumentalists join each concert and add that extra element to each performance. 

For our first Fund a Need, we ask that you support the Artistic Needs of Bellevue Youth Choirs. Your contribution makes it possible for us to support our excellent staff members, produce superlative concerts, program new music often in collaboration with local composers, and purchase necessary teaching materials.
