Accompanist for Prelude and Prima Choirs
2019

D’Laney Jevas, born and raised in Southern California, began playing the piano at six years old. As a youth, she participated in local competitions and concerts. In 2013, she was invited to perform with the Vienna International Orchestra. This experience inspired D’Laney to continue her education in piano performance and evoked a passion for conducting. Since then, D’Laney has been participating in music festivals, orchestras, choirs, and as an accompanist.

She has had masterclasses with Alvin Chow, Alan Chow, Douglas Humphreys, Joel Schoenhals, Robert Ward, Robert Lehrbaumer, and Ory Shihor.

D’Laney holds a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Oral Roberts University and a Performance Certificate from La Sierra University. She is currently working towards her Master’s degree at the University of Washington under the tutelage of Dr. Robin McCabe. D’Laney hopes to obtain a doctoral degree in piano performance and conducting so that she can teach at the collegiate level and continue to inspire kids from all over the world.
