A Message from Talia: Learning with BYC

Since our founding in 2012, BYC has taught musicianship skills to hundreds of youth in a dynamic, engaging way. Schola Voce singer Talia is one of many singers who loves to learn with BYC. You can listen as she shares her thoughts here.

At BYC, we believe a music education is an essential part of a child’s growth as an individual and in a community. Choir is the perfect place to develop music and performing skills in a supportive, caring environment led by talented directors.

As the year ends, we’ll be sharing personal messages from our choristers and directors about why learning with BYC is so important to them. We hope that you’ll take these messages to heart and consider making a donation in support of our mission to offer unmatched musicianship training, inspired performances, and a joyful, spirited community for youth.

This weekend Talia joins our touring choir to perform carols at the annual Christmas Lighting Festival in Leavenworth. Your contributions help make local and international trips like this possible, in addition to supporting MainStage performances, purchasing new music from all over the world, and hiring excellent directors to teach music to our students. None of these activities are possible through tuition alone -- we depend on your contributions to make it all happen.

Support a BYC singer now! Consider donating as a holiday gift, and ask your friends and relatives for their support as well.
