On Fire for BYC

Dear BYC Community,

This week and next, many of you will receive a stimulus check in your accounts and mailboxes. One of our board members has decided to donate theirs back to BYC:

“Stimulus checks are intended to stimulate the economy. I want BYC to be there for my kids and grandkids. BYC is the economy I want to stimulate. Please join me!”

Can you join our board and donate part or all of your stimulus check to BYC?

DONATE NOW

BYC has been hit hard by this pandemic. With the closure of our season came the loss of income from ticket sales, fundraisers, and tuition. In addition, we were planning to raise $5,000 at our second annual auction: ON FIRE FOR BYC.

As we continue to plan for the 2020/21 season, expenses continue. Our directors and accompanists, who are currently furloughed, are anxious to return to making music with your children. Now, more than ever, we need your help to be ON FIRE FOR BYC.

There are two ways you can spread this fire:

  1. BYC needs at least $10,000 in donations now to bridge us into the new season. We have applied for matching funds from the state arts council and all of the government programs available to us. If you can, please contribute to saving our choirs!
  2. Registration for 2020-21 will open soon! Register your children so we know that we will have enough choristers in September. Spread the word and help recruit your friends and neighbors!

With your help, we can continue making music with our young singers next year. Thank you in advance for your generosity during this difficult time.

Stay well!
