Anna McLeod is ecstatic to join the Bellevue GirlChoir staff. Anna is the new Director of Choirs at Sumner Middle School. She has taught High School choir, Middle School choir, and Elementary general music and has a passion for teaching each level. As a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, Anna graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education, with an emphasis in choral studies. Anna also just completed her Level II Kodaly studies at Seattle Pacific University and looks forward to finishing coursework next summer.

For the past six years, Anna was a chorister, soloist, and section leader for international award winning ensemble, Choral Union of PLU. Currently, Anna sings soprano with Reson8, a group of local musicians from the Puget Sound area who perform for and with high school vocal ensembles. Since 2009, Anna managed the Washington Music Educators Association's Junior All-State Treble Choir, while working with top conductors in the field. When she is not teaching, conducting or performing, Anna loves spending time with her family and friends enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
